Beat the January Blues
2015 is here. A Happy New Year from all at Jana Reinhardt!
How is January treating you so far? The excitement of Christmas and New Year is over, we’ve had Arctic cold, grey skies and rain. It’s dark when you wake up, it’s dark when you go home. If you’re anything like us, you might be feeling the teensiest bit blue.
We can all take comfort from the fact that January is renowned as the gloomiest month going. In fact, the 19th of January has been officially named THE most depressing day of the year by sociologists. Wondering where they got this date from? It’s based on a very complicated sounding theory calculated by using weather conditions, debt level, time since Christmas, time since failing our new year’s resolutions, low motivational levels and feeling of a need to take action. Confused? Us too.
If that’s left you feeling even more depressed, don’t despair, the same folks that came up with that cheery little formula also worked out the happiest day of the year in 2015 will fall on 21st June. So don’t worry, happy days are just 6 months away...
If you can’t wait that long to cheer yourself up, never fear. Jana Reinhardt is here with a few suggestions of some cute contemporary jewellery that will bring thoughts of sunshine and happiness into your January days. And you can get your hands on them today, rather than in 6 months time...
